Tails Talks is a new speaker-style series at Tails & Ales designed for dog lovers who enjoy learning, connecting, and swapping ideas with fellow owners and experts.

We’re kicking off the series with a special conversation featuring the trainers from Woodland West Pet Resort. This relaxed, informal talk offers a chance to meet the trainers, hear about their training philosophy, and pick up a few helpful insights into how they approach behavior, communication, and building stronger relationships with your dog.

Think of this evening as a preview of the deeper, hands-on Woodland West Workshop happening on March 23. It’s an opportunity to ask questions, hear real-world examples, and get a feel for what you can expect before diving into the full workshop experience.

But this first event is just the beginning.

Tails Talks will become an ongoing rotating series focused entirely on dog-related topics. Throughout the year we’ll welcome a mix of trainers, veterinarians, wellness professionals, behavior specialists, and other knowledgeable voices from our local pet community. Each session will spotlight a different perspective — from training techniques and health tips to enrichment ideas, nutrition, and everyday life with dogs.

The goal is simple: create a place where our community can gather, learn something new, and share the joy of raising great dogs.

The format is intentionally casual and conversation-driven. Grab a drink from the bar, settle into the yard, and enjoy an evening that blends useful information with easy conversation and a few laughs along the way.
