Woodland West Workshop

  • Tails & Ales 1903 South Boston Avenue Tulsa, OK, 74119 United States (map)

Join us in the yard for a hands-on evening with the trainers from Woodland West Pet Resort, focused on creating a better outdoor environment for you and your dog. This interactive workshop is designed to help dog owners think more intentionally about how their outdoor spaces can support training, enrichment, and calm behavior.

Whether you have a backyard, patio, or simply spend time outdoors with your dog, the Woodland West team will share practical tips for setting up a space that encourages good habits and reduces common challenges. From managing distractions to creating structure during outdoor time, you’ll learn simple adjustments that can make a big difference in how your dog engages with the environment.

Throughout the session, the trainers will walk through real-world examples and demonstrate techniques that support better communication, focus, and confidence for dogs in open environments. They’ll also discuss how thoughtful setup — things like boundaries, activity zones, and enrichment opportunities — can help transform outdoor time from chaotic to productive and enjoyable.

This workshop builds on the ideas introduced during our Tails Talks conversation on March 19, giving you a chance to dive deeper and see these concepts in action. It’s a relaxed and approachable format, with plenty of time for questions, discussion, and practical advice tailored to everyday dog owners.

Whether your goal is improving leash manners, creating a calmer backyard routine, or simply learning more about how dogs interact with their surroundings, you’ll leave with useful ideas you can start applying right away.

Grab a drink, bring your curiosity, and join us for an evening of learning and conversation with some of the region’s most experienced trainers.
